Food


Food is very important in french culture while the Bordeaux region is the most important gastronomical region of France and maybe of the world. Apart from the famous Médoc, Sauternes and St. Emilion wines it produces foie gras, lamprey, shad, Arcachon oysters, caviar, cannelés, armagnac etc.

Bordeaux and restaurants: lots of them, cheap and very good quality. You dan find a good and complete meal for about 12 Euro / 17 US$. See the menu in the picture: 13 Euro and this is a real good restaurant.
