There is a Dutch woman that is very interested in these heads. She loves them. She sent me the following comments.
"I think this is Hermes, the god of the trade (which would not be strange for Bordeaux). Hermes wears a winged helmet."
"I think this is Pan."
"Did you notice the lion´s beak on his head?"
(Did you notice the paws under his head?)
"It looks like he finds himself so ugly that he put his hands before his eyes. But maybe its just some cement."
(Yes, cement I believe.)
